A WORD FROM THE DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS

As director of admissions I would like to thank you for your interest in the HOLY SPIRIT SCHOOL OF MINISTRY & its school of chaplaincy. If you are reading this, then more than likely you are in search of understanding the deeper things of God, or you have reasons to believe that there is a ministerial call on your life. If this is the case, then HSSM is here to help you.
I would first like to explain the type of programs that our school offers to the believer, and aspiring minister of the Gospel.
1] The 1st program that our school offers is a six week certificate program where the believer is greatly enriched in learning the deeper things of God, and enrolls in the course that is being offered for the purpose of attaining spiritual growth and enrichment. At the end of this course a certificate of completion is issued to the student by mail with a few weeks.
2] The 2nd program that our school offers is a chaplaincy program that is geared for those who have reasons to believe that they have a call on their life to the office of a pastor. These students go through a six week program where they receive the teachings necessary to be a Chaplain/Pastor upon completion they become a candidate for a formal graduation where our presbytery team will ordain you before witnesses for the purposes of attaining your license, ordination documents from HSSM & the National Chaplains Association.
3] Other extenuating circumstances that the Holy Spirit reveals to us outside of the above mentioned categories upon that student’s good standing, and ministerial fellowship with HSSM, then this matter is taken into consideration and is discussed among our board members and presbytery team for confirmation, and agreement upon which the student will be notified of our decision to ordain, as a part of HSSM only, and not as a part of the school of chaplaincy.
There are many who are called, but only a few who are chosen. One of our goals prior to your enrollment is to help you understand the process, and work of the Holy Spirit in your own life as you contemplate yielding to the service of the Lord.
The staff at HSSM takes ministry, and the lives of those who are called to the ministry very seriously, In addition, it is our prayers that each student upon enrollment also shares the same belief.
HSSM~SCHOOL OF MINISTRY ADMISSIONS PROCESS
1] To begin the process we must receive the on-line enrollment application along with your references, signed code of honor, general consent agreement, and your $50.00 application/deposit fee-[This fee is non-refundable]. This may be sent to us via email, or by mail. For you convenience you may pay your registration fee through pay-pal by going to the link on this page below. In addition to the above all that is required when taking a course with the school of ministry~HSSM is *a desire to learn *a commitment to develop a deeper personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ—your spirit, soul, and body—through Bible study, prayer, and worship *a desire to discover God's will for your life *a commitment to apply what you learn in service for our wonderful Lord. 2] Our staff will review your application once it is received. 3] After the application has been reviewed, then an initial interview will be scheduled between you and the director of admissions. 4] After the interview a written recommendation of admission will be made by the administrative director. 5]5] Once an admissions decision has been made you will be contacted about registering, and paying the balance due of your course enrollment fee on-line, after which you will be given all that is necessary to register, and begin taking classes.
HSSM~SCHOOL OF CHAPLAINCY ADMISSIONS PROCESS
1] To begin the process we must recieve the on-line enrollment application along with your references, signed code of honor, general consent agreement, and your application/deposit fee of $150.00-[$50.00 is non-refundable.] This may be sent, or by mail by you. For your convenience you may pay your registration/deposit fee through pay-pal by going to the link below on this page. 2] You will be sent a finger print card by mail which you will take to be finger printed at the local police station in your area. 3] Upon receipt of the finger print card our staff will review your application. 4] After the application has been reviewed, then an initial interview will be scheduled between you and the director of admissions. 5] After a successfull interview, then a written recommendation of admission will be made by the administrative director. 6] Once an admissions decision has been made you will be contacted about paying your balance, or making payment arrangements, then registering for classes on-line. At this point you will be given all that is necessary to register, and begin taking classes.
Although we would like to admit, ordain, and license everyone to HSSM & its school of chaplaincy we must first follow the leading of the Holy Spirit as we meet with each person. Our school is only a catalyst for you to walk in your God ordained purpose, and destiny. Please understand that it is not our school, but it is the Lord who first ordained you in the realm of the spirit. We are only assigned to your life to ordain and license you in the natural for the purpose of helping you to arrive that much closer to your destiny and purpose.
